Michael Inzlicht is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto and the scientific advisor to PsyFi. He directs the Work and Play Lab, and holds appointments at the Rotman School of Management and the Schwartz Reisman Institute of Technology and Society.
His research covers self-control, motivation, empathic AI, and the mental effort people spend pursuing their goals — the same machinery that decides whether a budget survives contact with a bad week. He reviews PsyFi content where the behavioral-science claims need to be right.
